Made from premium solid brass (not plated), the bells are finished with a non-toxic coating that does not dampen their clear, bright, and cheery sound. They are on the slightly larger side, giving them a lower register, and the minute variations in tone inherent in their fabrication result in an appealing mixture as they jingle. The heavy-duty leather strap, in a vintage-looking forest green, is lined on both sides to prevent it from marking any surface you hang or display it on. The large brass ring makes it easy to suspend from nearly any doorknob, hook, or hanger. Although the bells are fabricated overseas (solid brass sleigh bells have not been made in the US for decades), the leather cut sewn and assembly is in USA. Measures 17'' L overall, including the brass ring.
