Micro serrations slice through coarse and slippery fabrics with ease, protect the blade from damage, and are always sharp. A wedge on the bottom of the handle stabilizes the blade keeping it level to ensure straight and accurate cuts. The handle is coated with rubber for comfort. Dab a little sewing machine oil on the screw to keep the blade action fluid.
